YURI CHORNY, BLACK BEAR
painted wood, 12" x 11", 2006
He was a featured
dancer with a touring circus when he met Ursula Noir by chance
at Starbuck’s one afternoon during the
intermission of a matinee performance. Their eyes met, he inhaled
her honeyed scent and, abandoning the show, he followed her
home. He now works as a personal trainer at the gym next door
to Ursula‘s nail salon… and has applied for a Green
Card. He changed his name to George Black
